Book cover of "The Green Paper Rabbit" featuring an origami rabbit, a family, and a cookie stand sign
“The Green Paper Rabbit” is a children’s story that follows Tyson and his sister Jada, who both want to buy bicycles. Their father agrees to contribute half the cost if they can save up the other half. Inspired by their mother’s suggestion, they create a vision board and decide to bake cookies to sell and raise money. One day, an older gentleman buys cookies and gives them a crumpled dollar bill shaped like a green paper rabbit. He introduces them to the 50-30-20. The green paper rabbit comes to life at night and teaches Tyson and Jada about financial independence, budgeting, and saving. The children learn valuable lessons about persistence, financial responsibility, and the importance of having a vision and working towards it.
